HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4579-1966 RESOLUTION NO. 4579 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SPECIFIC PLAN AND REG~TION LIMITING THE LOCATION OF BUILD- INGS AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS WITH RESPECT TO AN EXISTING AND/OR PLANNED RIGflT OF WAY- SPRUCE AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: W~EREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco has by Resolution No.2085, passed October 10, 1966, entitled "RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CO~4ISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE PROPOSED SPECIFIC PLAN OF BUILDING SET-BACK LINES ALONG SPRUCE AVENUE, BETWEEN S. CANAL STREET AND EL CAMINO REAL, AND RECOmmENDING THE ADOPTION OF SAID PLAN BY THE CITY COUNCIL", has duly recommended a specific plan and regul- ation limiting the location of buildings and other improve- ments with respect to an existing and/or planned right of way, to wit: Spruce Avenue, and WHEREAS, said specific plan and regulation provides for a 15-foot wide building setback on each side of Spruce Avenue between South Canal Street and E1 Camino Real, and WHEREAS, the CitY' Council upon receipt of the proposed specific plan and regulation published a Notice of Hearing thereon in accordance with Section 65500 of the Government Code of the State of California and duly held said hearing in accordance with Section 65503 of the Government Code of the State of California on the 5th day of December , 19 66, and WHEREAS, said City Council desires to adopt said specific plan or regulation in accordance with Section 65503 of the Government Code of the State of California. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that: 1. In accordance with Title 7, Chapter 3, Articles 8 and 9, of the Government Code of the State of California, and in particular Section 65503 thereof, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby adopt the proposed specific plan and regulation set forth in Reso- lution No.2085 of the South San Francisco Planning Commission, passed by said Commission on the 10th day of October, 1966, which Resolution is entitled "RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE PROPOSED SPECIFIC PLAN OF BUILDING SET-BACK LINES ALONG SPRUCE AVENUE, BETWEEN S. CANAL.~,STREET AND EL CAMINO REAL, AND RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF SAID PLAN BY THE CITY COUN- 2. There is hereby established the following specific plan and/or regulation limiting the location of buildings and other improvements with respect to an existing and/or planned right of way known as Spruce Avenue in the City of South San Francisco, to wit: Buildings and/or other improvements shall be set back 15 feet on each side of South Spruce Avenue between South Canal Street and E1 Camino Real in the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San.
