CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION URGING COOPERATION
WITH "CRASH" PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the approaching Holiday Season with all its
gaiety and rejoicing is also a time when earlier darkness,
inclement weather and misdirected enthusiasm result in
greater danger to motorists and pedestrians alike, of in-
jury, property damage, and even death; and
WHEREAS, the Holiday Season, above all others, should
not be marred by the suffering and sorrow resulting from
such greater danger; and
WHEREAS, the "Crash" Program has proved to be a means
to reduce effectively the danger which we all wish to avoid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council urges
all citizens of this City to cooperate with the "Crash"
Program and to urge others to do so, and further that this
Council take all possible steps to reduce the toll of motor
vehicle collisions, particularly during the Holiday Season.
