Chair Comments: None. Agenda Review: None. Public Participation: None. Public Comments: None. Approval of Minutes: Minutes of April 5, 2017 were approved ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS: Item 1. Pilot Bike Share Program with Bluegogo: Presentation by Justin Lovell, City of South San Francisco Public Works Administrator Public Works Administrator Justin Lovell shared that the City is working with a bike share company named Bluegogo to implement a pilot bike share program. Page 2 of 2 Bluegogo will be dropping off four demonstration bikes that will be available for use while the City works out the details of the three month pilot program. The program should begin in June 2017, and within that time, the company will have 70-100 bicycles available for public use within South San Francisco. Bluegogo bikes are activated by a cell phone application an account would need to be set up. Per Justin Lovell, the first five rides are free and once those rides are exhausted, the cost to the user would be $0.99 for each 30 minutes of use. If South San Francisco adopts the program, the City would be the first to operate Bluegogo’s bike share program in the United States. COMMITTEE COMMENTS: Cassandra Woo: Natalie Gore completed and submitted her Baytrail Assessment assignment. STAFF COMMENTS: Kelvin Munar: Kelvin introduced Richard Cho, Engineering’s newest Senior Engineer, and BPAC’s new Secretary. ACTION: None ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, Chairperson Woo closed the meeting at 7:05 pm.
