The Bo~d of Trustees of the City~ of South San Francisco do
ordain as follows:
Section 1. It shall be ~lawful for any person, persons, firm
or co~oration, within the limits of the City of South S~ Francisco,
to sell any ~n, rifle, revolver, pistol, or other firearm, or any
air-g~, or any instr~ent of any kind or character which throws or
projects bullets or missiI~ of any kind, to ~y distance, by ~ans
of the elastic force of air, or by means of ~y e~losive substance,
except to s~ch person,~persons, firm or co~oration as shall ~ve first
received a ~itten permit from the City ~arshal of said City to p~-
chase the same.
Section 2. ~y person, firm or corporation, or agent thereof,
who shall violate a~ provision of this ordinance s~ll be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be p~ished by
a fine not exceeding One H~dred Dollars ($100.00), or by imprisonment
for a period no~ exceeding Thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and
impr i s onme nt.
SeCtion 3. This ordinance shall be published once in "The ~ter-
prise, a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in said
City of South San Francisco and shall take effect ~d be in force from
~d after the expiration of Thirty (30) days after the da.~e of its
passage.
