ordain as follows:
Section l: It shall be ~lawful for any person to be
upon a~v public street, avenue, thoroughfare or highway in the
City of South S~ Fr~cisco, or in ~y public place in said City,
in a state of dr~e~ess. It shall be unlawful for any person
to be on ~y private premises or in ~y private house in said
Ci~ in a state of dr~kenness to the a~yance of any other person.
Section 2: ~y person who shall violate the provisions
of this ord~ce shall be deemed guilty .of a misdeme~or and,
upon conviction thereof, shall be p~ished by a fine not exceed-
lng Fifty Doll.s ($~0.00), or by impriso~ent not exceeding a
period o~ thirty (30) days, or by.th such fine and impriso~ent~
~ection 3: This ordin~ce shall be publishe& once in
"The Enterprise and The South S~ ~r~cisco Journal", a weekly
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said
City of South San Fr~cisco, and shall take effect and be in force ~
from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days after the date
o~ its adoption.
