HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 167-1934 OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULAT- ING AND RELATING TO THE CONSTRUCTION, ERECTION, ~:~AINTENA~CF~ A~ USE OF BILLBOARDS IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, AND LICFD~SING ADA REGUI,ATII'JG THE OCCUPATION OF ~AINTAINING BILLBOARDS AND 0UTD00R ADVERTISING, PROVIDING PENALTIES F0R THE VIOLATION OF THE SA~E, AA~D REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF IN C0~qFLICT THEREWITH", passed May &, 1951. · The City Council of the City of South San Francisco do ordain as follows: Section l: Ordinance No. 156 of the City of South San Francisco entitled "An ordinance regulating and relating to the construction, erection, maintenance and use of billboards in the City of South San Francisco, and licensing and regulating the occupation of maintaining billboards and outdoor advertising, pro- viding penalties for the violation of the same, and repealing all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict therewith," passed May 4, 1931, is hereby repealed. Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once in "The Enterprise and The South San Francisco Journal", a weekly newspaper printed and published in said City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in force from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption. -o-o-o-o-o- Introduced this2~day of February, 193~.
