The City Council of %he City of Oou%h S~ FrA~T~5-6
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 216 of the City of South
S~ Francisco entitled: "An ordinance of the City of South San
Francisco creating and establishing a personnel system for said
city", adopted December 15, 19~1, is hereby amended by adding
thereto a new sec%ion ~o said Ordinance No. 216, which section
shall be n~bered ~d read as follows:
Section 5 b. There is hereby added ~o the competi-
tive service of said city %he office ~d position of Captain of
the Fire Department.
Sec%ion 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
~ "SOUTH S~N F~NCISCO ~TE~RISE-JOU~", a newspaper of general
cir~lation, prin~ed and published in said Oity of South S~ Fran-
cisco ~d shall take effect and be in force from ~d after the
e~ira%ion of thirty (30) days after its adoption.
Introduced this 21st day of August, 1950.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco, this 28th day of August ,
1950, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder, Adolph Sani,
Joseph Bracco
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen ~ilio Cortesi
