The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section lO, Subsection 5, o~ Ordinance No. R69
of the City of South San Francisco, known as the zoning ordinance of
the City of South San Francisco, adopted December 8, 1947, is hereby
amended so that subsection 5, as amended, shall read as follows:
5. No dance hall, roadhouse, night club, co~ercial club,
or any establishment where liquor is sold or served, or co~ercial
place of amusement or recreation, or any such place or any other place
where entertainers are provided, whether as social companions or other-
wise, shall be established in any C-1 district, unless and until a use
permit shall ~rst have been secured for the establishment, maintenance
and operation of such use~
Section ~. This ordi~nce shall be published by one (1)
insertion in the ENT~FRISE-SOU~ SAN FRANCISCO JOURNAL, a weekly
newspaper published and circulated in the City of South San Francisco
and shall take effect and be in force on the exploration of thirty (30)
days after its adoption~

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco this 7th day of ~y , 1951, by the following
vote:
