' JUL 12 T951 The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as follows: Section 1. Subject to the amendments and alterations hereinafter set forth, that certain plumbing code entitled: "PLUMBING CODE OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA," which was adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San MateD and became ef- fective on June l, 1950, is hereby adopted as the plumbing code for the City of South San Francisco. Three (3) copies of said code have been filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the city clerk of said city. Section 2. Wherever, in said plumbing code of the County of San MateD, California, inspection of plumbing works in provided for, such inspection work shall.be performed by the building inspector of the City of South San Francisco. Section 3. Section 1.29 of said plumbing code of ~the County of San MateD is hereby amended so that section 1.29, as amended, shall read as follows: For each fixture $1.00 For Septic Tank Installation $1.00 Owner's Permit $2.00 For sewer connection $2.00 Section 4. Strict compliance with the terms and provisions of said plumbing code of the County of San MateD, California, is required in all work to which said ordinance is applicable. Section 5. Any person, persons, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this ordinance or of said plumbing code ,sh~ll be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not less than TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) and not exceeding THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00), or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding three (3) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day's violation of said plumbing code shall be deemed a separate offense and shall be punished accordingly. Section 6. This ordinance shall be published once in the ENTERPRISE-SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO JOURNAL, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in said City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in force from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption.
