AN ORDINANCE 0F THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4~9, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RECREATING AND
RE-ESTABLISHING A PERSONNEL SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.
216 AND ALL INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES", BY ADDING
THERETO IN SECTION 6 NEW CLASSIFICATIONS OF PARK-
ING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AND CLERK-TYPIST
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco
does ordain as follows:
Section l: The position of "Parking Enforcement
Officer" is hereby added to Section 6 of Ordinance No. 449,
entitled "An Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco
Recreating and Re-establishing a Personnel System for the
City of South San Francisco and Repealing Ordinance No. 216
and all Inconsistent Ordinances", under the classification
entitled "Public Safety: Police", and said position is hereby
added to the competitive service.
Section 2: The position of "Clerk-Typist" is here-
by added to Section 6 of Ordinance No. ~49, entitled "An
0rdiuance of the City of South San Francisco Recreating and
Re-establishing a Personnel System for the City of South San
Francisco and Repealing Ordinance No. 216 and All Inconsistent
Ordinances",. under the classification entitled "Administrative,
Clerical and Fiscal", and said position is hereby added to
competitive service.
This ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise
Press, a newspaper ~f general circulation, published and cireul&ted
in the Cit~ of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be
in force en the expiration of thirt~ (30) d&~s after its adoption.
Introduced this 7th da~ of November 1960.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the Clt~ of South
San F~ancisee at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco this 21st da2 of
November 19 80, b2 the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi,
Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahem

ABSENT, " None
