HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 617-1971ORDINANCE NO. 6~7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 511 - PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT, AND ORDINANCE 353, AS AMENDED. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. AMENDMENT OF SECTION II-C OF ORDINANCE 511. Section II-C of Ordinance $11, passed August 10, 1964, and as same amended Ordinance 353, as amended, passed August 10, 1954, is hereby amended to read: Parcels C-1 and C-2 - Commercial Zone C-1 Ail that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, being a portion of the lands in Rancho Buri Buri, described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the northwesterly prolonga- tion of the centerline of 0akmont Drive, distant thereon N 21° 05' 35" W 89.99 feet from the inter- section of said centerline with the northwesterly boundary of that subdivision entitled Westborough Unit No. lB, as said Drive and said Subdivision are shown on the map entitled "TRACT NO. 798, WESTBOROUGH UNIT NO. lB, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA," which map was recorded September 13, 1961, in Book $5 of Maps at Pages 16 and 17, San Mateo County Records; thence from said Point of Beginning N 68° 54' 25" E 45.00 feet; thence N 21° 05' 35" W 20.00 feet; thence tangent to the preceding course northwesterly along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 2794.74 feet and a central angle of 7° 42' 00" an arc length of 375.59 feet; thence tangent to the preceding curve N 28° 47' 35" W 264.45 feet; thence southwesterly S 61° 12' 00" W 184.47 feet; thence tangent to the preceding course southwesterly on the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 700.00 feet and a central angle of 7° 58' 00" an arc length of 97.33 feet; thence tangent to the preceding curve S 53° 14' 00" W 423.52 feet; thence at right angles to the pre- ceding course S 36° 46' 00" E 520.25 feet; thence tangent to the preceding course southeasterly on the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 200.00 CENTRAL RECORDS FILE NO: ........~ .... ~/~.~Zl feet and a central angle of 27° 06' 41" an arc length of 94.64 feet to a point thereon; thence N 80° 20' 41" E 93.83 feet; thence northeasterly from a tangent that bears N 31° 35' 44" E on the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 544.95 feet and a central angle of 37° 18' 41" an arc length of 354.88 feet; thence tangent to the preceding curve N 68° 54' 25" E 105.40 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 9.127 acres of land, more or less. The California Coordinate System, Zone 3, has been used as the basis of bearing for the purpose of this description. Ail bearings given are grid bearings. Ail distances given are grid distances. To convert grid distance to ground distance, multiply grid dis- tance by 1.0000922. C-2 Ail that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California,' being portions of Lots 46, 48 and 49 in Block 2 as said Lots and Block are shown on that cer- tain map entitled "WESTBOROUGH - WEST PARK UNIT NO. 2, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", filed November 19, 1964 in Book 61 of Maps at Pages 17, 18 and 19, San Mateo County Records; and IN ADDITION, all that certain parcel of land abandoned by the City of South San Francisco contiguous to afore- said Lots 48 and 49 in Block 2 as filed October ?, 1969, in Book 5698 of Official Records at Page 204, San Mateo County Records, said parcel of land being formerly a portion of Callan Boulevard (formerly 0akmont Drive) as shown on aforesaid map of Westborough - West Park Unit No. 2, described as follows: COMMENCING at the intersection of the centerline of Callan Boulevard (formerly Oakmont Drive, Map) with the centerline of Carter Drive, as said Boulevard and Drive are shown on aforesaid map of Westborough - West Park Unit No. 2; running thence along the center- line of Callan Boulevard, North 38° 58' West 155.00 feet; thence leaving said line, South 51° 02' West 42.00 feet to a point on the southwesterly line of Callan Boulevard, said point being also a point on the north- easterly line of aforementioned Lot 49 in Block 2 and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence from said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, North 38° 58' West 42.59 feet to the most southeasterly point of that aforesaid certain parcel of land abandoned by the City of South San Francisco½ thence along the northeasterly and northerly line of the said parcel of land abandoned by the City of South San Francisco, as follows: northwesterly on the arc of a curve to the right, tangent to the last said course, with a radius of 791.93 feet, subtending a central angle of 12° 00' 01", an arc distance of 165.87 feet to a point of reverse curvature; thence northwesterly and westerly on the arc of a curve to the left from a tangent bearing North 26° 57' 59" West, with a radius of 30.00 feet, subtending a central angle of 78° 20' 33", an arc distance of 41.02 feet to the most westerly point of the said parcel of land aban- doned by the City of South San Francisco, said point being also the most easterly point of that certain par- cel of land deeded for street and highway purposes from Caesar Callan Homes, Inc. to the City of South San Francisco as filed on May 23, 1969, in Book 5642 of Official Records at Page 364, San Mateo County Records; thence continuing on the same last said radius of 30.00 feet, from a tangent bearing South 74° 41' 28" West, subtending a central angle of 9° 03' 59", an arc dis- tance of 4.75 feet to a point of compound curvature, said point being also a point on the southerly line of that certain parcel of land deeded from Suburban Realty Company to the City of Daly City as filed June 18, 1965, in Book 4973 of Official Records at Page 511, San Mateo County Records; thence leaving the line of aforesaid parcel of land deeded to the City of South San Francisco for street and highway purposes and running along the aforesai~d southerly line of that certain parcel of land deeded to the City of Daly City by Suburban Realty Company, southwesterly on the arc of a curve to the left, from a tangent bearing South 65° 37' 29" West, with a radius of 599.94 feet (600.00 feet, Deed), sub- tending a central angle of 14° 10' 08", an arc distance of 148.36 feet to the most northerly point of Parcel 2 as described in the Deed from Caesar Callan Homes, Inc. to the State of California as filed on May 28, 1969, in Book 5645 of Official Records at Page 166, San Mateo County Records; thence leaving the southerly line of afore- said parcel of land deeded to the City of Daly City by Suburban Realty Company and running along the generally easterly line of aforesaid parcel of land deeded to the State of California by Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., as follows: South 38° 32' 39" East (South 38° 32' 45" East, Deed) 2.50 feet; southwesterly on the arc of a curve to the left, from a tangent bearing South 51° 27' 21" West (South 51° 2?' 15" West, Deed), with a radius of 597 44 feet, subtending a central angle of 5° 14' 56" an arc distance of 54.73 feet; South 46° 12' 25" West (South 46© 12' 19" West, Deed) 70.35 feet; South 6° 43' 41" East 133.98 feet½ thence leaving the line of the said parcel of land deeded to the State of California, North 51° 02' East 221.24 feet~ South 38° 58' East 138.00 feet and North 51° 02' East 126.21 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING 1.271 acres, more or less. Ail bearings and distances are in California Coordinate System, Zone 3. To obtain ground distances multiply distances described in the above by 1.000092. SECTION II. AMENDMENT OF ZONING MAP AND WESTBOROUGH - WEST PARK PLANNED COMMUNITY SITE PLAN. The Zoning Map of the City of South San Francisco as amended, and the Westborough - West Park Planned Communi%y Site Plan as adopted by Ordinance $11 passed August 10, 1964, are hereby further amended by establishing the parcels described as C-1 and C-2 above as a Planned Community Commercial District. The boundary of said parcels and designation as a Planned Community Commercial Zone shall be delineated upon the Zoning Map of the City of South San Francisco and the said Westborough - West Park Planned Com- munity Site Plan. SECTION III. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be published once in the "Enterprise- Journal," a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.
