AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.68.030 OF THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE DECLARING
THE PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 11.68.030 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read:
Section 11.68.030
Prima Facie Speed Limit Declared
Forty-Five Miles Per Hour
The forty-five mile per hour prima facie speed limit shall apply to the
following streets:
junipero Serra Boulevard - from Avalon Drive to Westborough
Boulevard
Westborough Boulevard - from Junipero Serra Boulevard to Camaritas
Avenue.
SECTION 2. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City
Council members voting for or against it, in the Enterprise-Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as
required by law, and shall become effective thirty days from and after its
adoption.
Introduced at a continued req. meeting of the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, held the 19th day of September , 1990.
Adopted as an ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
held the lOth day of October , 1990, by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Jack Draqo, Gus NicolOpulos, John R. Penna,
Roberta Cerri Teqlia, and Mayor Richard A. Haffey
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
