AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 20 OF THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE TO
PROVIDE FOR QUICK LUBE SERVICES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 20.06.050(p) "Automotive and Equipment" is amended by renumbering
subsections (6) and (7) as subsections (7) and (8) and by adding a new
subsection (6) to read:
(6) Quick Lube Services. A business with a drive through facility
without hoists or racks at which no vehicle (except employee vehicles)
remains for longer than one hour and at whch services are limited to oil
changes, vehicle lubrication (lube-job), smog checks and tune-ups.

"Quick Lube Services" is hereby added as a use permitted subject to a
use permit in the C-1 and M-1 zone districts by adding the use to the list
of uses under (c) Commercial Use Types, Automotive and Equipment in
Sections 20.22.040 and 20.30.010 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. Section 20.74.060{1) Amended.
Section 20.74.060(1) is amended by the addition of subsection (2) to
read:
(2) Quick lube services: two spaces for each bay plus one space for the
cashier.
SECTION 4.
Publication and Effective Date
This ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City Council
members voting for or against it, in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of
general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required by law, and
shall become effective thirty {30) days from and after its adoption.
