AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.72.230
CONCERNING TAXICAB RATES OF THE SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. SECTION 6.72.230 AMENDED
Section 6.72.230 is hereby amended to read:
Section 6.72.230 Rate Schedule
The rates fixed or charged or collected by the owner or driver of any
taxicab, except for trips to or from points outside of the city where the
charge is fixed on a trip basis, shall be established by resolution of the
City Council and may be revised from time to time.
SECTION 2. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City
Councilmembers voting for or against it, in the Enterprise Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as
required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after
its adoption.

Adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a
reqular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
held the 9th day of January , 1991, by the following vote:

Councilmembers Richard A. Haffey, John R. Penna, Gus NIcolopulos,
Roberta Cerri Teqlia, and Mayor Jack Draqo
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
