SECTION 20.11.070 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
MUNICIPAL O0DE TO RE~JLATE AUTOMOTIVE RENTAL

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 20.11.010 and Section 20.11.070 Amended.
Section 20.11.010 and Section 20.11.070 are hereby amended to read:
"Section 20.11.010
Accessory Uses
Accessory uses, as defined in Section 20.06.050, may be permitted in all
residential and nonresidential districts. This is not to be construed as
permitting any commercial uses, including the storage of commercial vehicles
in residential districts."
"Section 20.11.070
Automotive Rentals in Hotels.
Automotive rental agencies located in hotels are accessory uses.
Automotive rental agencies that include the storing of vehicles on the hotel
site may be approved subject to a use permit, providing the following criteria
are met:
(a)
The use is intended to serve hotel guests.
(b)
Adequate parking is available, as determined parking demand
study approved by the planning commission.
(c)
No preparation, maintenance or cleaning of rental vehicles occurs
on-site."
(d)
No more than ten vehicles are stored on the hotel site."
StatION 2. Publication and Effective Date.
This ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City
Councilmembers voting for or against it, in the Enterprise Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as
required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after
its adoption.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco, held the 27th day of February , 1991.
Adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
held the 13th day of March , 1991, by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos, John R.
Penna, Roberta Cerri Teqlia, and Mayor Jack Draqo

ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
